This past week, I worked hard taking the children to their jobs. Girl worked for Benetton, Boy 2 worked for Bambino & Boy 3 worked for Elle.

Boy 2 was at it again...... Go to this website to find Boy 3! There is a photo strip in the middle left side of the screen (it takes it a little while to load), just scroll down on it, roll your mouse over the pictures and you should be able to find him. He is in about 5 or 6 shots. Boy 2 and Girl did a photo shoot this past weekend. It was with a company called Commencer, they were modeling winter clothes. They took the kids (and parents) all over the city taking pictures...inside a cafe, on the street, in a park; they even brought in a tiny car and took pictures in it. The kids had a great time & this time the company gave them each an outfit to take home! We went to the mall on Tuesday to show Grammy around and to check to see if we could find any pictures of the kids. We found the Absorba store and these pictures of Boy 3! The sales lady’s face was priceless when she realized the boy in the photo was the boy sitting on the counter. My boys are in print & on the internet. Go to www.cozcoz.com then skip intro, click on catalog, make sure it is on Fall 2008, scroll through the pictures to find Boys 2 & 3. On Wednesday Girl went to her first photo shoot for a company named Elden. The modeling agent picked us up at 9AM, and then about 9:20 on our way to the studio, we were rear-ended. Thankfully no one was injured. Just a bit shook up, and the modeling agent's mini van was pretty smashed up in the back. The young man that hit us was very apologetic, so much so that I started feeling bad for him. He was very concerned about making sure everyone; especially the children were not injured. The picture above was right after hair and make up were done. The picture below is with her good friend, L. Girl had a great day, she worked a full day and loved every second of it. You know how sometimes life goes through ups and downs? Right now, and for the past several months (since hubby has been home from Iraq) my life has been UP. Things are just falling into place, and all is good and calm (as calm as it can be with 4 kids & a crazy dog). Boy 2 fell in love with the two puppies on this shoot. They were sisters, he was really wishing he could bring one home with him. On Monday I decided to say home, as it was raining again, for about the 4th day straight. We have officially hit Monsoon season. My housekeeper was here, and it was a good time to clear the clutter…we have only been here 3 months & it is amazing how much paperwork one can accumulate during that time. I got rid of a ton of paperwork, but also held on to a lot of it, because get this….. When we moved here and I was getting briefed on housing, they did not mention anything about recycling, so I ask. The told me I did not need to recycle. I didn’t understand, so I continued to ask about it, and I ask if I could recycle if I wanted to. The told me NOT to recycle. This really threw me for a loop; because I know in Korea recycling is MANDATORY. They even have cameras on trash cans in the apartment buildings to make sure people are doing their part and recycling. On the streets you can’t even find trash cans because of the recycling rules. You just keep your trash with you and throw it away when you get home. Many of you know how I am, so I continued to press the issue, until they finally told me that I do not need to recycle because the Army HIRES PEOPLE TO GO THOUGH OUR TRASH!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that? I think that is INSANE, and it makes Americans look so LAZY! I was shocked, and still am. It freaks me out that people go though my trash. So, back to the subject, I held on to a lot of my paper work so I could shred it. I got a shredder last night and will be shredding paperwork today. On Monday I also reorganized my pantry, added a few labels to thing that didn’t have them, organized my kitchen a little better & so on. I feel much better. Can you guess what this picture is from? Yes, boy 2 is now modeling as well. I will try not to bore you guys will tons of modeling pictures over the next 2 years, but it is exciting for us. Boy 3 went on a photo shoot; while we were there the people working kept swooning around boy 2. They kept pinching his cheeks, running their fingers through his hair, asking him his name, how old he is, giving him gum (his favorite) and just making him feel like a king. After an hour or so they just started putting clothes on him and getting him dressed. He had a GREAT time; he may have had even more fun than boy 3. When boy 2 came home he told his dad “they took pictures of me and gave me SO MUCH MONEY because I am SO HANDSOME”!! Boy 3 getting ready for his photo shoot. When the catalogs come out I will send you all a link to check out my boys. Boy 3 went on another photo shoot this week. This time it was it was with a company called Allo & Lugh. I don’t really know much about this company. Boy 3’s clothes were a little small on this shoot as well. There were about 8 kids doing this shoot, Boy 3 was the only one that did not have a melt down at some point, and when we left, he said "I want do this again" , I mean who wouldn't, he felt like a king. He was in the makeup chair 3 times, he changed clothes 5 times and they gave him anything he wanted; donuts, pizza, nerds, all sorts of Korean candies. Boy 2 tagged along on this shoot, and he enjoyed it as well. Ms. Sue even gave him some money at the end because he came and "helped" with all the little kids. They are very good to all the children that come to take pictures. OK, here are the pictures from the photo shoot, but they are backwards. You see the last pictures first....I can't figure it out tonight...it is late and I need to go to bed. |
AuthorProud Army wife and mother to 4 wonderful children. I love to cook, travel, work out and scrapbook life’s adventures when I find the time. We just got orders & are heading back to the states in March 2010. I'm bummed that our time has been cut short, but proud of Hubby for the reason why. Archives
