It was such a clear day here in Seoul I couldn't resist grabbing my camera and heading to MP hill to snap a picture!  Next time I need to make sure I grab my tripod too.

Photographers - help me here....besides a tripod, what else should be going on?

Go ahead, call me a dork...
No, it wasn't a slow picture day.
There are just some things I always want to remember and to be able to show the kids when they are older.
Something small, something simple.
Something important.
Plus, it's kind of cool looking for a fire hydrant.

I took this out the car window.

Day 49 - Parking IN Korea

Parking in Korea is like no other and Koreans are MASTER parkers.
You can pretty much park anywhere as long as you leave your phone number on the dash of your car so if you block someone in they can call you to come move your car. You can park on sidewalks, you can double and triple park.  We have even parked on the side of the highway near Jamsil stadium because there were no parking spots left.  You can block people in with no worries at all.  If you don't want to be bothered with a phone call you can even leave your keys in your car and or put your car in neutral so others can move your car for you.
True story.
This place is crazy.
My van is the red one...most cars in Korea are black, white or gray so it is always easy to find my car.
The white car in front of my car is not in a parking spot and as you will notice my minivan is too big for most parking spots here.

When I saw this on the side of a building I couldn't help smiling and gagging just a little.
Check out the nose.

Day 37 - Movie Tickets, Korean Style

We only have 6 more months here and I am seriously going to miss this place.
Movie tickets delivered to your phone, with assigned seats.
The only thing that could make it better is having the love of my life by my side and a big ol' bucket of popcorn in 2 flavors...
And it did!
I had both!

    Project 365

Am I insane?  Have I lost my mind?  After thinking long and hard about it (OK, really I only thought about it for about 12 hours) I just committed to doing a photo a day for a year - a 365 'they' call it.  This is going to be SUPER HARD for me. Not the photo part, but the editing part. I mean you guys KNOW how far behind I am.  A photo a day - that doesn't sound like much, but in reality, who are we kidding?  Anyway  I'm going to TRY to post each day, but there will be times I might be MIA for a couple of days, just bear with me and I will catch up.

One of my goals throughout this 365 is to be able to shoot anything I want to in manual. The next is to have fun capturing this next crazy year of our life. In the next 365 you will see: at least 2 more countries, a HS graduation, an international move to most likely 2 different states, the heartbreak of a mom as she sends her first born off to college and so much more....

Please make sure you cheer me on after all I am a "Words of Affirmation" girl. :o)
