Yes, you heard me correctly. SQUAT POTS. Once you leave the westernized area of Seoul and start heading out into other parts of Korea, this is how you go to the bathroom. And from what I understand, this is a nice one. Note to self: Always carry hand sanitizer!

This is a nice one! I never saw a regular toilet while I was in Korea, except on base. The one by our house was just a hole in the ground so this one is a nice porcelain one compared to that. We were quite a ways north though. Did you use them and have to balance?

This is truly primitive! I had no idea that people actually had to use the restroom like this. I guess you get used to it.
