When I was about to move to Korea I though I would hate it here I would be leavening all my friends from Copperas Cove. BUT I love it here it’s probably the best place I’ve lived. I have probably made more friends here then my whole life.

The number one thing I like in Korea is all of the new freedom I get. Like I get to go to the movies like 3 times a week with my friends, go to the pool a lot, or just hang around post.

My number two thing I like in Korea is going off base to shop you can buy a jersey for like 10000-20000won (10-20$) you can  buy movies on the street for like 4 for 10$ and the food is really weird but good.

Hi, Boy #1! We're very glad to hear that you're enjoying Korea. I know that this sounds like one those stupid things that grown-ups say, but I'll say it anyway: your life will be greatly enriched when you're an adult because you've live in a foreign country and experienced another culture in such great depth. It will help you immensely in your future career to have some sympathy for other societies and if you can learn the language, at least a little, you'll be able to use that to your advantage, too. I'm VERY glad to hear that you're making friends. Lots of love to you from Mr and Mrs G, and our Boy and Girl.

Proud Army wife and mother to 4 wonderful children.  I love to cook, travel, work out and scrapbook life’s adventures when I find the time.  We just got orders & are heading back to the states in March 2010.  I'm bummed that our time has been cut short, but proud of Hubby for the reason why.
