Actually not so much his new toy as much as it is his new mode of transportation. We are only allowed to have one car here, so sometimes it get hairy trying to get the kids to their activities and Hubby to where he needs to be. So Hubby opted to purchase himself a new bike. Never mind the bike cost about ½ as much as our “hooptie” car cost, still with the 2 combined (the bike and the hooptie) we come out way ahead of what a “normal” car would cost. Hubby is also about to start training for a triathlon. I would train with him, but I don’t have a bike, although it is a great reason to go shopping. To be honest though, training for a triathlon is A LOT of work, and I just don’t know if I am up for that. I know, I am sounding wimpy, & I do work out all the time, but I really am not that great of a swimmer (excuses, excuses, I know). I guess I need to start watching The Biggest Loser again to get remotivated, only if I could find it on TV here. Don’t get me started on TV here. That is a blog for another day. Ok, I will stop babbling.....
Have a great day..... :)

I love the bike!! Okay, Dear, You know I love you dearly, but I have a problem. I am about as dumb as a book when it comes to book smarts. The only thing I do know a little about is spelling. You are about the 15th person that spells "looser" as the word "loser" When you want something looser on your clothes or something "loose or looser" If you are being a loser at a game, it's loser. I have never corrected anyone on this issue, but I was curious why so many people misspell this word??? I am so not picking on you , I promise!!!

Apparently I am the loser, because I thought it was spelled with 2 o’s. Thanks for correcting me. I am fixing it right now. Sorry to upset you with my incorrect spelling. :)

You could never upset me!!! It's funny because I just asked my hubby about this about a week ago because I got an email from someone and she did the same thing. After having so many people spell the word that way, I thought, maybe I'm wrong. So, he said, no, everyone is spelling it like it sounds. I even have a friend who has a masters in education and spells it wrong, so don't feel bad!!!

We just got orders & are heading back to the states in March 2010. I'm bummed that our time has been cut short, but proud of Hubby for the reason why. Archives
