I've really enjoyed looking at your
blog. I think it's really helped tip
the scales in moving to Korea w/my husband who just got orders to the Osan AB (OCT 09). I can't believe how much we have in common for hobbies (like flower arranging, cooking, great homemade cocktails, and just trying new things).. Anyway it's made me feel like all the things I enjoy here in New Mexico will be possible in some small way there. You and your family look like you're having a wonderful time and are very inspiring. Thanks

Kara, I'm so glad you left a comment, and I am thrilled I could help you! Osan is about a 1 hour drive from here. I don't know Osan as well as Seoul, but Osan has THE BEST (cheapest) shopping! Just ask all the guest that have visited from the U.S.! And although I LOVE Korean food, I love to eat at Chili's when I am in Osan. There are also some pretty fabulous restaurants in Osan, Thai, Brazilian, I've heard the Mexican rocks, but have yet to try it. I make trips to Osan every few weeks, so when you arrive I would be happy to meet up with you. There is a bus that travels between Osan and Yongsan for $5 USD. (Just FYI) Anyway, have a safe trip, and enjoy Korea when you arrive!!

I hate these creatures! I act stupid every time I see one in my house. LOL!

Proud Army wife and mother to 4 wonderful children.  I love to cook, travel, work out and scrapbook life’s adventures when I find the time.  We just got orders & are heading back to the states in March 2010.  I'm bummed that our time has been cut short, but proud of Hubby for the reason why.
