Oktoberfest, Korean Style...

This past weekend we attended Oktoberfest here on Yongsan.  It was fun, just a little different. The beer drinking contest was with NEAR BEER, poor saps that entered.  We went with people from Hubby's office; here they are having a nice (nasty) shot of Jagermeister.

I had to have my picture taken with the German, Korean announcer.  Dan, the goofball in the background just wanted to have his picture published on my blog so he was pretending to be lost, not really that far fetched.  I think he had one too many shots of Jagermeister.  Me, I had none, honestly.  I did come in 3rd place (with my partner T, the one in the jean jacket) in the "Chicken Dance" contest!  Whoo - hoo!!   AND, so what if my husband was one of the judges.

you look awesome dear friend! I wish i had been there to see you chicken dancing! What fun!!!!
But you claim you didn't have any jagermieister, but yet, you're the only in a little shirt when all the other girls are in jackets...could it be the alcohol keeping you warm? Just kidding! I know it was all the chicken dancing! Now why didn't we think of chicken dancing back in the barn party days?

I love the costume of the hat lady! I miss J. and you also, his laugh is fun, it makes me remember when he would get mom going. (and children too!!)

Randy, you are so kind. Thank you. Seriously, no jager for me. I am just a hot natured freak. I am always hot. You will see me wearing shorts with a long sleeve t-shirt in the winter, or short sleeve shirts with jackets, just in case I get hot.

Proud Army wife and mother to 4 wonderful children.  I love to cook, travel, work out and scrapbook life’s adventures when I find the time.  We just got orders & are heading back to the states in March 2010.  I'm bummed that our time has been cut short, but proud of Hubby for the reason why.
