I started the day off with a trip to the flower market.  I go weekly for fresh flower.  I don't know what I am going to do when we move back to the states and don't have my flower market to visit anymore.

The orchids in the photo above cost 6,000 won, ($6).  The flowers below, I have no idea what they are, but they are pretty aren’t they?   They were only 2,500 won. They are in my bathroom.  At any given moment I have between 5-10 bouquets of fresh cut flowers in my home.    Right now I have 8.

After the flower market I came home, got everyone dressed, sent Hubby off to work, then the kids, myself and 2 friends plus their children headed to the subway & took off for a day at Seoul Grand Park, the zoo.  We had a great time. This is the second time we have been to the zoo and we still have not seen it all.   The picture below is in the Seoul Grand Park subway station. Not eveyone is pictured.

This picture is not great, but I wanted to show it to you anyway.  This gazebo type structure we are having lunch on is very popular throughout the zoo.  They are great for having a picnic on and it is not at all unusual to see people resting or taking naps on them throughout the zoo.

I agree with Ginny - those are some kind of ginger - we saw those all over Costa Rica.

Reading your busy week and all those activities made me absolutely exhausted! I am at Lake Texoma, sitting at the activity center relaxing and using their wifi! We went swimming today and now the boys are napping! Girls and I had to get out of RV for some space! We go home tomorrow for a few days and then back up here for a few. We start school soon so we're trying to get as much camping in as we can! That is one huge pinata!! I have a pony one in my garage sale pile he could have had!!! I got rid of 125 pieces of clothing of mine and over 200 of the kids. Can you say too much clothes!! Well, take care and talk to you soon~! JZ

My friends are too smart...I looked up the ginger flower and Ginny & Lara you are correct, it is in fact some sort of ginger flower!

Staci, I know you want to move here now. You can take naps anywere...no one cares.

Proud Army wife and mother to 4 wonderful children.  I love to cook, travel, work out and scrapbook life’s adventures when I find the time.  We just got orders & are heading back to the states in March 2010.  I'm bummed that our time has been cut short, but proud of Hubby for the reason why.
