This is one of the side dishes we get at the little Mackerel restaurant we go to. We (Hubby and I) love this dish, but we really have no idea what we are eating.  It is a bit spicy and tastes a little fishy.  If you know what we are eating and please let us know!

They are not hard, but not chewy either, just normal, and they are by no means a cookie.

You're making me really hungry for the mackrel lady...that place is so awesome!! Don't even think about what it might be, if it tastes good, good for it!

Looks like nacho cheese doritos to me, with a few green beans for color!!!!!!

I think it is fish cake, hence the slightly fishy taste :) not even close to a cookie. Had a great time this Friday! Now I have to go make a margarita....

It's called as O-Deng or A-mook in Korean. It's made of fleshy part of fish. Fish cake in English sounds good. I think there's no exactly matched word to it.

I agree that this is one of the best things at the mackerel lady's restaurant.

Proud Army wife and mother to 4 wonderful children.  I love to cook, travel, work out and scrapbook life’s adventures when I find the time.  We just got orders & are heading back to the states in March 2010.  I'm bummed that our time has been cut short, but proud of Hubby for the reason why.
