I was lucky enough to catch it today.
There is a 5 minute window some mornings where the sun makes beautiful music with the clouds.
I was lucky enough to catch it today.

Our first real snow of the season.
I cannot tell you how much I love sunrise from my front porch. SO BLESSED. I am amazed every single time I watch sunrise. The colors are so vibrant. I used to think most pictures of sunrise on the web were Photoshopped...until I moved to Rhode Island.
True, vibrant & unique colors with each sunrise. No editing of any kind here. Sunrise from Jamestown, looking at Newport Bridge and Newport. This morning I took Boy 1 to the airport to head back to Boise for his 2nd semester of college. My heart was breaking. This time was harder than the last 2 times I said goodbye. I think it is because this time I knew. I knew he wasn't coming back to live with us. He has started planning HIS life, a life that doesn't include Mom and Dad too much. While he was home we talked about HIS plans, HIS goals, HIS life. This summer HE is getting an apartment and staying in Boise for the summer. He won't come home to to live with Mom and Dad for the summer. Sure we will see him from time to time, vacations and holidays, but he is gone. HIS story has begun. Even though I will miss his spirit in our home, I can't wait to see what HIS life has in store for him. |
TrishHere I go again! Last year I learn SO much about photography while doing the 365, but there is so much more to learn! My ultimate goal was to learn to shoot in manual mode in which I succeeded. However I know I need to fine tune many, many aspects of my photography. Categories
