 How awesome is it that I can walk out my backdoor and be at this spot in less than 5 minutes?
I live on a peninsula on the Island of Newport. I can go out my front door and run along the water for 1.1 miles and be at my back door. I am blessed, I say it often and I mean it with every inch of my being. I am blessed. This photograph is the first of many sunsets you will be seeing, as I love photographing sunrise and sunset. Today I couldn't figure out what kept getting in my shot. I kept retaking it, trying to zoom closer, and then I saw it, it was a HUGE SHIP! The Maersk Kalea headed for Providence. It is a chemical/oil tanker built in 2004 that flies under the flag of Singapore. I don't know for sure, but I am fairly certain that since I had a hard time seeing a 38,400 ton tanker I should probably visit an eye doctor in the near future..... |
TrishHere I go again! Last year I learn SO much about photography while doing the 365, but there is so much more to learn! My ultimate goal was to learn to shoot in manual mode in which I succeeded. However I know I need to fine tune many, many aspects of my photography. Categories
