A friend.

The North Shore.
Picture
My favorite food truck.
Picture
This food truck was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
Even the guy from Dinners, Drive In's and Dives thinks so.
Garlic Shrimp.
Garlic Rice.
Garlic, garlic and more delicious garlic.
Mmmm...I know.
Picture
We also tried the short ribs.
When I saw Korean style short ribs on the menu I was thinking galbi.
I was craving galbi.
I wanted galbi.
So when these came out I was a little disappointed, but only because they were not what I was expecting.
However after a few bites, they won me over.
Yum-o.
I wish I had some to make for breakfast this morning. :)

AND PS....the owner ask us where we were from and when she found out we were military spouse she gave us free drinks. How awesome is that?
My friend Dalia is a great tour guide.
We drove up and down North Shore stopping anywhere my little heart desired.

I love what this picture says.

I took this picture for Dalia.
Her favorite tree.

It was such a beautiful day on the North Shore.

This wasn't exactly a food truck, but we had to stop anyway since the line was wrapped around the building.

MORE GARLIC SHRIMP.
Can you imagine what my breath smells like by now?
Picture
I love how the palm trees grow here....
Picture
I had a great time watching the surfers.
They are much more brave than I.

Who does this look like to you?
Picture
Could it be?
Is it my favorite serial killer?
(I'm such a stalker.)
Tell me if you think so.

All in all it was a great day with a great friend.

There is something about that tree, i stop to look at it all the time. But the entire drive up the North shore is a drive that you just got to drive slow and try to catch all of it. I'm glad we got to to share that day and that drive up there. You got to come back because since then I have stopped at every beach access just to check out every spot and I found a few more that you would love. Ohhh and I had garlic breath for days it seemed like. Miss you friend.

Hi, I'm Trish, the writer, creator and photographer of this blog.  I started this blog for 2 reasons, 1 - When I found out we were moving to Korea back in 2008 I was a little freaked out and started scouring the internet for information on Korea. At that time there wasn't much out there so I am doing my part in helping families across the world not be so freaked out when it comes time to move to Korea.  The 2nd reason I started this blog was to help stay connected to family members back in the states.  Today it is so much more that.
I hope you enjoy our journey.

Are you moving to Korea?  Do you have questions, concerns?  Are you freaking out?   Freak out no further -  click the button to ask a question.  I'll do my best to answer open and honestly.
