This is the creature that crawled all over my boy at the Pension in Eurwangni Beach last weekend.
That is NO SPIDER.
I would be freaked out too.
I'm sorry I told him to suck it up.

The bad news is, this one was found in our house.

Oh Michelle, you are in trouble now!
Since I have learn that they are money bugs (my alternator went out the day I killed one of those little creatures) I'm on a catch and release program around here! :O)

Thank God we live on the 14th floor of our building - up high enough to keep the creepy crawlies out!

JK just told me that Koreans call this the 'money bug'. If you take it unharmed outside and release it, then you will get some money soon. If you kill it, you ar about to lose money. This totally explains why our car broke down!

Oh man do we remember those! Hated seeing them crawling through our house in Blackhawk. They are so creepy, but not too creepy to squish!

Wow.. that is a creepy looking bug. I would have freaked out too. It has way too many legs. The only thing that would make it worse is if it had a scorpion tail and was the size of a small dog.

Hi, I'm Trish, the writer, creator and photographer of this blog.  I started this blog for 2 reasons, 1 - When I found out we were moving to Korea back in 2008 I was a little freaked out and started scouring the internet for information on Korea. At that time there wasn't much out there so I am doing my part in helping families across the world not be so freaked out when it comes time to move to Korea.  The 2nd reason I started this blog was to help stay connected to family members back in the states.  Today it is so much more that.
I hope you enjoy our journey.

Are you moving to Korea?  Do you have questions, concerns?  Are you freaking out?   Freak out no further -  click the button to ask a question.  I'll do my best to answer open and honestly.
