I love running along the Hann. This is the Dongjak Bridge with Seoul Tower in the background.  The things I see while on foot in Korea.... This is an auto repair shop ON A BRIDGE. True story....ON A BRIDGE. AND on the right side of that van is an entry lane onto the bridge, on the left side 3 lanes of traffic. Every time I run by he is busy. I wonder if you have to make an appointment.  Early morning run to Seoul Tower. I need to find a way to strap my DSLR to my body while running. ;)  I know, I know.... 3 straight day of not picking up my camera. But I'm kind of digging these running pictures taken with my phone camera. This is one of the streets I run on. It is crazy, scary and fun. There are so many things going on here. The truck to the right is avoiding hitting me. (Thank you kind sir!) The taxi stopped in the middle of the street to pick up a fare. And check out all those electrical lines. How can one NOT love living in such a vibrant city?!  I never tire of this view.  Seoul Tower, my beacon home.
(Photo taken with phone camera) How am I totally cheating you ask? I did not lift my camera on Day 90. True story. The last week of January & the first week of February were completely insane for me. In fact there are a couple of days where you are going to running pictures from me. Running pictures I snapped with my phone. They will not be perfect. What they will be are GREAT memories that I am sharing with you. I love running in this crazy city. It is SO MUCH FUN and I always have my phone and I always snap a picture or two and then I never share them. No more. They will be my 'go to' photos when I give myself grace for not picking up my 'real' camera. I hope you enjoy them. This picture is one of my favorite areas while running on the Han River. I love passing under bridges. Sometimes I will just run back in forth in front of this just to look at it. I'm sure people wonder what I am doing.  A view from my morning run. I.LOVE.THIS.CITY! Am I insane? Have I lost my mind? After thinking long and hard about it (OK, really I only thought about it for about 12 hours) I just committed to doing a photo a day for a year - a 365 'they' call it. This is going to be SUPER HARD for me. Not the photo part, but the editing part. I mean you guys KNOW how far behind I am. A photo a day - that doesn't sound like much, but in reality, who are we kidding? Anyway I'm going to TRY to post each day, but there will be times I might be MIA for a couple of days, just bear with me and I will catch up. Archives
