Day 207 - How to Move a Phone Booth

First they look at it and shake their heads.
Then they ask if we are taking it with us.
Then they speak in Korean using big hand gestures.
Then they shake their heads again.
Then they scratch their heads.
Then they measure and speak in Korean with big hand gestures again.
In a few hours they come back with a "custom made crate" for our phone booth.
True Story.

Hi Trish! Your photos are great! I found your blog through the link-up at Click It Up a Notch. My husband and I are in the process of creating a new feature at The Albums to help our members begin and finish a Project 365.

I was wondering…since you have made it so far in your Project 365 what's one piece of advice you would tell someone about to embark on one?

My #1 piece of advice is:
Don't get wrapped up in making every picture PERFECT.... almost gave up because the pictures weren't 'good enough', but then I sucked it up and reminded myself this project for me is to learn, create and tell a story. It's ok if not all my pictures are 'picture perfect'. ;)

Project 365

Am I insane? Have I lost my mind? After thinking long and hard about it (OK, really I only thought about it for about 12 hours) I just committed to doing a photo a day for a year - a 365 'they' call it. This is going to be SUPER HARD for me. Not the photo part, but the editing part. I mean you guys KNOW how far behind I am. A photo a day - that doesn't sound like much, but in reality, who are we kidding? Anyway I'm going to TRY to post each day, but there will be times I might be MIA for a couple of days, just bear with me and I will catch up.

One of my goals throughout this 365 is to be able to shoot anything I want to in manual. The next is to have fun capturing this next crazy year of our life. In the next 365 you will see: at least 2 more countries, a HS graduation, an international move to most likely 2 different states, the heartbreak of a mom as she sends her first born off to college and so much more....

Please make sure you cheer me on after all I am a "Words of Affirmation" girl. :o)
