This picture is a product of many tears after sitting in the hall outside my sister's hospital room talking with the hospice lady, making choices we don't want to make.
Even though it doesn't show too much, if you look close you will see puffy eyes and sadness deep in our souls.
I had to break the ice and make them all do a selfie with me, since I am known to my family as the selfie queen, the wild one, the bossy one and so many more things I can't post here.
So many hard days have passed....so many more to come.

Project 365

Am I insane? Have I lost my mind? After thinking long and hard about it (OK, really I only thought about it for about 12 hours) I just committed to doing a photo a day for a year - a 365 'they' call it. This is going to be SUPER HARD for me. Not the photo part, but the editing part. I mean you guys KNOW how far behind I am. A photo a day - that doesn't sound like much, but in reality, who are we kidding? Anyway I'm going to TRY to post each day, but there will be times I might be MIA for a couple of days, just bear with me and I will catch up.

One of my goals throughout this 365 is to be able to shoot anything I want to in manual. The next is to have fun capturing this next crazy year of our life. In the next 365 you will see: at least 2 more countries, a HS graduation, an international move to most likely 2 different states, the heartbreak of a mom as she sends her first born off to college and so much more....

Please make sure you cheer me on after all I am a "Words of Affirmation" girl. :o)
