Day 49 - Parking IN Korea

Parking in Korea is like no other and Koreans are MASTER parkers.
You can pretty much park anywhere as long as you leave your phone number on the dash of your car so if you block someone in they can call you to come move your car. You can park on sidewalks, you can double and triple park.  We have even parked on the side of the highway near Jamsil stadium because there were no parking spots left.  You can block people in with no worries at all.  If you don't want to be bothered with a phone call you can even leave your keys in your car and or put your car in neutral so others can move your car for you.
True story.
This place is crazy.
My van is the red one...most cars in Korea are black, white or gray so it is always easy to find my car.
The white car in front of my car is not in a parking spot and as you will notice my minivan is too big for most parking spots here.

I am becoming fond of the washed, waxed, and buffed floors in parking garages. No oil slicks or sloppy puddles to wade through.

Parking in GE is also crazy- not as insane as your description but places and garages are very small!

    Project 365

Am I insane?  Have I lost my mind?  After thinking long and hard about it (OK, really I only thought about it for about 12 hours) I just committed to doing a photo a day for a year - a 365 'they' call it.  This is going to be SUPER HARD for me. Not the photo part, but the editing part. I mean you guys KNOW how far behind I am.  A photo a day - that doesn't sound like much, but in reality, who are we kidding?  Anyway  I'm going to TRY to post each day, but there will be times I might be MIA for a couple of days, just bear with me and I will catch up.

One of my goals throughout this 365 is to be able to shoot anything I want to in manual. The next is to have fun capturing this next crazy year of our life. In the next 365 you will see: at least 2 more countries, a HS graduation, an international move to most likely 2 different states, the heartbreak of a mom as she sends her first born off to college and so much more....

Please make sure you cheer me on after all I am a "Words of Affirmation" girl. :o)
