Day 8 - It's All About Popcorn!

The 2nd & 4th Friday of each month my perfume of choice is Popcorn.
Fresh popped popcorn.

I used to say I would never volunteer to pop popcorn.
I mean sure I like to smell popcorn, but having that butter smell up my nose all day? No thank you.
And of course I'm happy to eat it, but pop it....ughh...shoot me now.
Popcorn has a bad rap among volunteers.

BUT THEN THERE WERE SAES Volunteers....
and they make everything CRAZY FUN.
They laugh, they smile and they just make you feel all warm and fuzzy.
Who wouldn't want to hang with these awesome ladies for 5-6 hours twice a month?
And I have to tell you....when you see the sweet smiles on those faces of the little people who receive the popcorn - well that just sweetens the pot.

Project 365

Am I insane? Have I lost my mind? After thinking long and hard about it (OK, really I only thought about it for about 12 hours) I just committed to doing a photo a day for a year - a 365 'they' call it. This is going to be SUPER HARD for me. Not the photo part, but the editing part. I mean you guys KNOW how far behind I am. A photo a day - that doesn't sound like much, but in reality, who are we kidding? Anyway I'm going to TRY to post each day, but there will be times I might be MIA for a couple of days, just bear with me and I will catch up.

One of my goals throughout this 365 is to be able to shoot anything I want to in manual. The next is to have fun capturing this next crazy year of our life. In the next 365 you will see: at least 2 more countries, a HS graduation, an international move to most likely 2 different states, the heartbreak of a mom as she sends her first born off to college and so much more....

Please make sure you cheer me on after all I am a "Words of Affirmation" girl. :o)
